IFCA members:  Thank you for your overwhelming support for IFCA's efforts to ensure our industry remains proactive on addressing nutrient losses and ensuring long-term profitability for our farmer customers given the challenges we face with nutrients and water quality issues.  At the IFCA Convention in January, we officially launched the IFCA "Keep it 4R Crop" nutrient stewardship program.  We will issue a monthly report on the activities of our members in nutrient stewardship, and the first report is available by clicking here.  In each report we want to highlight the efforts of an ag retailer and/or crop adviser and how you are working with your farmer customers in this effort.  Please contact Jean Payne at jeanp@ifca.com if you have a story idea.  We share this report with all nutrient stakeholders, including state agencies, environmental groups, other ag groups, and water supply and water treatment officials so that they remain aware of the efforts of the Illinois fertilizer industry in offering products, services and advice to our customers to increase nutrient utilization to protect water quality and enhance yields.  Please feel free to share this report with your customers as well, and if you would like IFCA staff to make a presentation on the Keep it 4R Crop program to your staff or your customers, just let us know, we love doing this for our members!
