Be sure to submit your Tier 2 chemical inventory reports to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and your Local Emergency Planning Committee before March 1, 2015.  Failure to report on time can result in a penalty. The IEMA Tier 2 on-line system has undergone a major upgrade, click tierii.iema.state.il.us/TIER2MANAGER/Account/Login.aspx to be directed to the IEMA website for more information on how to submit your chemical inventory reports.  You can also upload to IEMA any updated Safety Data Sheets for the chemicals you store over 10,000 lbs or any extremely hazardous chemicals at this site.  Be sure to use Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Firefox 20 or higher or Chrome 26; using older browser versions may cause problems.  

 

If you repackage bulk pesticides into minibulks and offer them for sale or distribution, you must also submit your Pesticide Producing Establishment (PPR) report to USEPA by March 1, 2015.  Again, failure to report on time for this federal requirement can exceed $5,000 in penalties.  If you have questions regarding these reporting requirements, please contact IFCA at 309.827.2774.
