Even though the groundhog is predicting 6 more weeks of winter, spring will be here before we know it.  Be sure you have renewed your pesticide dealer, pesticide applicator and pesticide operator licenses with the Illinois Department of Agriculture.  You should have received a renewal reminder from IDA last November.  Licenses expire on December 31 of each year.  If you did not receive a renewal form, you can call IDA at 217.785.2427.  Be sure to get your renewal and payment in to IDA before the end of February to avoid a $20 late fee and to also ensure you give yourself and IDA ample time to get the licensing process completed.
