Vilsack Sees Some Proposed Ethanol Cuts Being Restored
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack offered support Tuesday to ethanol producers facing challenges, saying that the White House is committed to boosting use of the fuel in the country's gasoline supply.
Speaking before a friendly audience of biofuel producers in Washington, the former Iowa governor said he was confident the administration would restore at least some of the proposed cuts to a manate that would lower the amount of ethanol required to be blended into the country's fuel supply in 2014.
