Pesticide Misuse Claims So Far This Year
The Illinois Department of Agriculture reports that since January 2021, there have been 81 complaints filed with IDA for alleged pesticide misuse. Of those, 65 are ag related and 5 are specifically dicamba related. The total number of complaints are slightly higher than last year; in 2020 at this time there were 69 complaints filed with 57 being ag related and 5 related to dicamba.
