Jim Lovdahl - Funeral Service Information
James M. Lovdahl, age 70, of Monmouth, Illinois; passed away at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, on September 3rd at 12:40 pm. Jim was born on July 25, 1941 in the rural Monmouth area. In 1972 he and his brother Cecil Lovdahl, purchased the Monmouth Grain and Dryer. Upon retiring in 2007, he pursued his love of woodworking by building his dream workshop and cabin for his grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Friday September 9, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Monmouth. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. His family plans visitation with the family present at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday evening. A memorial fund is established for the First United Methodist Church in Monmouth, Illinois.
