Farmers have another resource to help them navigate new dicamba label rules.
The Illinois Department of Agriculture has updated its website and published a frequently asked questions page to reflect the new 2021 requirements farmers must follow – from application cut-off dates to temperature restrictions.
Those rules apply to XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology, Engenia Herbicide and Tavium Plus VaporGrip Technology.
“There’s a lot that’s changed in that label,” said Brad Beaver, IDOA’s acting bureau chief of environmental programs. “Go through and make sure you’re real familiar with it.”
