Message from KJ Johnson – IFCA Interim President

As the newly appointed Interim President of IFCA, I would like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself.  My name is Kevin “KJ” Johnson, and I previously was working as the Director of Government and Industry Relations for the association.  I look forward to working with you on current agronomic practices such as pesticide stewardship, 4R’s, the Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy as well as continue being the leading voice for the ag input industry in Washington D.C. and Springfield.

As an association, our main goals include gathering and communicating useful information vital to our members, addressing regulatory concerns, influencing policy-making processes that affect the industry, and developing and cultivating high standards on agronomy practices.

As president, I will actively engage our members, focusing on a collaborative effort to both grow the association as well as promote the value our members provide.  Exchanging ideas and working together to solve issues to better our industry is a priority we all share.  I will continue to strengthen these relationships, and through doing so, increase value to our members.

Finally, our mission will always be to assist and represent the crop production supply and service industry while promoting the sound stewardship and utilization of agricultural inputs.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss any issues, please feel free to reach out to me.  My email is kj@ifca.com, or contact me directly at 217-369-1669.
