Anhydrous Ammonia Competent Attendant Training, Train the Trainer Sessions & Online Grower Training

We are cautiously optimistic that in-person competent attendant training will take place sometime in early March.  There will most likely be restrictions on attendance, so once mitigation restrictions are relaxed, we will open up registration on the IFCA website.

The competent attendant online training is an alternative to the in-person training and will be open for registration starting January 18th.  Please keep in mind this on-line competent attendant training will only be good until July 15th, 2021.  Cost for the training is $15, you can click here to access the training.  For those of you that have signed up for the train the trainer sessions to help certify growers on their required ammonia training, we plan to start those classes as soon as the Governor moves the state into Phase 2.  If you are interested in becoming a grower trainer, please send John Rebholz an email john@ifca.com and he will add you to the list of potential trainers and notify you when a class is scheduled.

Finally, the Illinois Dept. of Agriculture is currently working through some minor issues on the on-line grower training platform and we expect those issues to be resolved fairly quickly.  Once those issues are resolved we will post a link to the on-line grower training on our website for you to share with your growers.
