Giovani Preza Fontes grew up in Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he received his B.S. in Agronomy. He also has degrees in Agronomy and Crop Sciences from Kansas State and the University of Illinois, primarily working with cover crops and N fertilizer management in different cropping systems. He will share past, current, and future research examples in his new role as the Field Crops Extension Agronomist.
