2025 IFCA Golf Outing

Looking for a great summer event for a cause? Don't miss out on the 2025 IFCA Golf for Scholarships outing! This year we are only having one outing which will be in Bloomington, IL at The Den on July 24th. This outing is a great opportunity to network with peers while supporting the next generation of agriculturalists.

We will be limited to the number of golfers and we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to golf at this Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course.

The outing is open to all, and companies are encouraged to bring teams of employees or customers to support the IFCA scholarship program. Scholarships are provided to students enrolled in an agriculture-related field attending the U of I, ISU, WIU, and SIU state colleges.

Cost: $125 per person; $500 for a foursome

Location: The Den; 3002 Fox Creek Road; Bloomington, IL

Time: Check-in at 9:30 am; Shotgun Start: 10:00 am

On Monday, March 24th, IFCA held a recorded discussion with Dr. John Jones of the University of Illinois to discuss Spring 2025 Nutrient Management Considerations. Dr. Jones provided a breakdown of several important topics, including determination of 2025 recommended corn nitrogen fertilizer rates, spring nitrogen timing, and strategies to consider for P & K management.

2025 Pesticide Container Recycling Program

Reminder about 2,4-D Formulations

This is a reminder that the only two labeled formulations of 2,4-D that can be applied postemergence in 2,4-D-resistant soybean varieties are Enlist One and Enlist Duo. No other salt formulations and no ester formulations can be applied postemergence to these varieties. EPA Registers New Herbicide Active Ingredient Glufosinate-P

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is registering a new active ingredient glufosinate-P to control weeds in conventional and glufosinate-resistant field corn, sweet corn, soybean, cotton and canola.
