IFCA Board of Directors Have Spring Board Meeting
On Thursday of this week, the IFCA Board of Directors met in Bloomington at the IFCA Office for one of their annual meetings to approve the new FY24/25 budget. A legislative update was provided from KJ Johnson and IFCA's lobbyist Darren Collier, where most of the discussion pertained to the farm bill, recent primary elections as well as what is currently taking place at our State Capitol.
Board discussions also included spring ammonia schools, EPA's herbicide strategy, the 2024 dicamba label, Illinois' nutrient loss reduction strategy, and the upcoming MAGIE show. The IFCA Board also hosted Illinois CCA Board of Directors at the meeting where productive conversations were had on the future of the CCA program in Illinois.
